1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Byline ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

2. Description of Service

Byline is a portfolio platform designed for writers, journalists, and content creators to showcase their work. We provide tools to create, host, and manage personal portfolio websites.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

4. Content and Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership of the content you post to your portfolio. Byline does not claim any ownership rights in your user content. However, by posting content to the Service, you grant us a license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Upload or transmit any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.

6. Payment and Subscriptions

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the type of subscription plan you select when purchasing a Subscription.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
